Quarantine Tech Talks: how the community went virtual in 2020

The Quarantine Tech Talks were a series of fully-virtual events the community ran during the 2020 quarantine. Below are the sessions from that year:

April 2 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 2

The state of JavaScript in 2020 + SOLID and testing applied to JavaScript.

April 11 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 3

What is Svelte + How to use Chaos Engineering to build reliable systems productively.

April 16 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 4

April 23 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 5

May 21 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 6

WebAssembly and the future of the web.

June 18 — Quarantine Tech Talks 💻 — Meetup 7

Migrating 25k pages to Gatsby: lessons learned + Nuxt.js, SSR with Vue.js.

September 26 — Soft skills and software engineering career paths

November 21 — Frontend development and web performance

That year proved the community could outlive its venue. The Quarantine Tech Talks were the bridge between the in-person PereiraJS era and the hybrid Pereira Tech Talks of today.
