From Vuetify to Edge Computing — 2026 Opening Meetup
On February 17, 2026 we gathered at Universidad Católica de Pereira for From Vuetify to Edge Computing — 2026 Opening Meetup. On the programme: Juan José Cardona, David Ricardo Rivera Arbeláez.
Our opening meetup of 2026 — reflections on the Vuetify ecosystem plus a dive into edge computing. Talks, snacks, and networking.
Talks
A Figma afternoon that changed the Vuetify ecosystem
Speaker: Juan José Cardona
What Vuetify is, the shape of its ecosystem, and why it matters — told by the person who, out of pure curiosity, ended up creating the Official Vuetify UI Kit for Figma and connecting deeply with the project.
Multi-agent systems to optimize energy consumption on IoT devices at the edge
Speaker: David Ricardo Rivera Arbeláez
A doctoral thesis in its closing stage on the use of AI agents as a strategy to optimize energy consumption on IoT devices operating under edge-computing schemes. The work explores how autonomous, adaptive agents can efficiently manage available resources and reduce energy spend without harming system performance in resource-limited environments.
