November meetup

November is here, we are heading into the last stretch of the year, and the call for talks is open. We want a night with many voices on stage, and for that we need yours: send us your talk and come tell us what you have been up to.

By this point in the year you have solved something you did not know how to solve when it started. It might be the tool you ended up adopting, the performance problem you finally understood, the part of the system you had to learn the hard way, or something you tried out of curiosity that turned out better than expected. That is exactly what we want to hear.

And if you think your topic is too small for a talk, it almost never is: what already feels obvious to you is usually the very thing someone else in the room has been hunting for.

You pick how long it needs: a lightning talk of 3 to 5 minutes to get straight to the point, or a full talk of 25 minutes if you want to develop it properly.

If you have never presented before, this is a good moment to start: we will help you shape the talk and rehearse it beforehand.

The date is confirmed. We are still deciding whether we meet in a room or online, and we will announce it here as soon as we know.

See you there!

Call for speakers

We are taking proposals until Friday 20 November, as a lightning talk or in the full format. Pick whichever length serves your idea and send it in.

Line-up in progress

We have not announced this meetup's talks yet. If you want to present, the call for speakers is the way in.

We are taking proposals for this meetup. Tell us what you want to present and we will reply within 7 business days.

Formats we are taking this month

  • Lightning (3–5 min)
  • Regular talk (25 min)

About your slides

It depends on the format you pick. If you bring a lightning talk, keep the slides few: just enough to land your idea in five minutes. If you bring a full talk, you have room to develop it properly — just make sure every slide earns its place.

A lightning talk leaves no room for a live demo: bring screenshots and talk through them. A full talk can fit one, but keep a recording or screenshots to hand in case the network lets you down.

The call closes on November 20, 2026

They do not have to be finished: a draft, an outline, or even the link to where they will be published all count. They help us assess the proposal and suggest improvements while there is still time to make them. Reusing a previous deck? Paste that link.

Optional. Paste a link to a photo of you, or write “use my LinkedIn photo” and we will take it from the profile you shared above. We use it on the flyer and on your speaker page.
